Following the success of the inaugural Web Summit Qatar in February 2025, thousands of international entrepreneurs, investors, and leaders are expected to gather at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC) to engage with the global tech community.

Additionally, applications are now open for the startup program at Web Summit Qatar 2025. The Alpha startup program at Web Summit Qatar spotlights promising early-stage startups, facilitating connections with influential individuals and companies worldwide.

Startups participating in Web Summit Qatar benefit from access to masterclasses, competitions, Mentor Hours, and networking opportunities with top investors and industry experts.

Successful applicants to the Alpha startup program will have full access to over 250 hours of content, including masterclasses and investor-to-startup meetings, according to the Web Summit Qatar website.

The first Web Summit Qatar in 2024 attracted a significant audience, bringing together a record number of international tech experts. The summit hosted 15,453 attendees from 118 countries, with notable representation from the US, UK, Egypt, Brazil, Italy, Switzerland, and India.

Among the participants were 148 partners from some of the world’s largest tech companies, such as Snap, TikTok, Meta, and Microsoft, who exhibited at Web Summit 2024.

Participation included 1,043 startups from 81 countries, with 10% being local startups. The event also featured a strong presence of women, with one-third of the 30 speakers being women, 315 startups founded by women in attendance, and women comprising 37% of the total participants.
