HE the Prime Minister and Interior Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani will officially inaugurate the Ras Laffan Emergency and Safety College (RLESC) at Ras Laffan Industrial City today.

RLESC will offer internationally recognised and professional vocational qualifications courses and programmes in Fire Safety Engineering and Fire Safety Management.The Qatar Petroleum and Ministry of Interior-led RLESC is a premier emergency and safety training college designed to serve a variety of sectors in Qatar as well as the greater Middle East, North Africa and Asia.

he RLESC offers a large selection of educational options comprising of vocational training courses and academic programmes, as students can enrol in Fire Safety Management or Fire Safety Engineering diploma and degree programmes. Plans for the future include degrees in Safety, Environment, Occupational Health, Business Continuity, Incident Management, and other related fields.

Located on a 1,000,000 sqm plot in Ras Laffan, RLESC features the best-in-class facilities and uses latest props from aircraft and marine vessel to residential and industrial facilities.
