Qatar Airways and Ooredoo are inviting customers to share their in-flight experience by snapping a #skyfie – a selfie in the sky!
From May to July 2016, all customers who travel on Qatar Airways’ next-generation A350 aircraft to destinations around the world can take advantage of the on-board Wi-Fi, sponsored by Ooredoo.
Travellers can share a #skyfie on social media for the chance to win prizes, including round trip tickets from Qatar Airways, smartphone devices and a signed Paris Saint-Germain F.C. football shirt with Ooredoo.
To enter, passengers need to sign up through the Qatar Airways on-Board WIFI and post a selfie taken during their flight along with the hashtag #skyfie on Instagram or Twitter. All entries tagged #skyfie will be automatically entered for a chance to win prizes. Thanks to Ooredoo, customers can enjoy 15 minutes of free Wi-Fi, and can purchase additional Wi-Fi access at reasonable prices any time during their flight.
Winners will be chosen every week, with prizes including in-flight Wi-Fi promo codes, Qatar Duty Free gift vouchers, Qatar Airways Privilege Club Qmiles, and Ooredoo My-Fi devices. Every month, a grand prize winner will be drawn to receive either a Qatar Airways round trip ticket or a signed Paris Saint-Germain FC football shirt.

The competition is open exclusively to passengers who travel on board Qatar Airways’ A350 fleet, which currently connects from Doha to seven worldwide destinations, including, Frankfurt, Munich, Singapore, Philadelphia, newly-added Boston and New York and Adelaide in Australia.
As the global launch customer, Qatar Airways collaborated with Airbus to design and develop the A350. The A350 offers the latest innovations in passenger comfort and well-being, including spacious seats, a wider cabin, and other experience-enhancing elements. As one of the lightest aircraft of its type, the highly efficient A350 has 25 per cent lower CO2 emissions than the current generation of aircraft within its category.
