To mark the holy month of Ramadan, Qatar Airways and Qatar Duty Free (QDF) hosted a Suhoor for local members of the media recently at the ‘Alf Leila w Leila’ Ramadan Tent of Mondrian Hotel, Doha.
The event was hosted by Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, HE Akbar Al Baker, and attended by members of the airline’s senior leadership, as well as over 100 representatives of Doha’s local media. The Suhoor was to thank the media for their role in keeping the public informed of current events. The evening also provided guests with the opportunity to experience Qatar’s rich cultural heritage and hospitality through traditional Ramadan celebrations.
During the event, the national carrier previewed its thrilling new TVC campaign which highlighted the airline’s sponsorship of the FIFA Women’s World Cup France 2019™ which will be held in different cities of France from 7 June until 7 July. The TVC expresses the tremendous excitement generated in the run up to the most thrilling sports event yet in women’s team sports.
