Qatar Airways is proud to be the Official Airline for the upcoming Katara European Jazz Festival, bringing together some of the finest performers of European Jazz music to Doha.

The three-day event which starts on 30 October is organised by the five Embassies of France, Austria, Germany, Italy and Switzerland in Doha, in cooperation with Doha’s Katara Cultural Village and Jazzy Colors in Paris.

The event which will be held in the Katara Cultural Village will consist of three consecutive jazz evenings as well as several workshops held by international musicians at the Qatar Music Academy.

The goal behind the Katara European Jazz event is to establish an annual international jazz festival and make Doha a hub that serves as a forum for international artistic exchange between European and Arab music traditions.

Some of the musicians who will perform during this year’s festival include the French quartet of Bertrand Renaudin, the Italian pianist Stefano Battaglia’s Trio, Jan Schneider’s Quartet from Germany and Switzerland’s Trio Alptraum.
