The KHCC Qatar Airways Ward

The Qatar Airways Ward will serve leukaemia in-patients in 24 state-of-the-art rooms. The naming of the ward is testament to the longstanding and fruitful partnership between the airline and KHCF/KHCC.

In the past, Qatar Airways has supported the foundation and centre through donation of cutting edge lifesaving machinery and medical equipment. Representatives from the airline, including various characters from the Oryx Kids Club, have also visited KHCC on several occasions, to distribute gifts to children undergoing treatment at the centre.

Jordan has become one of Qatar Airways’ most important markets since it launched its first flight to Amman in 1994. Today, Amman is served by 17 flights per week. Over 400 Jordanians are also employed by the Qatar Airways Group.
