At the 5th Annual TTG China Travel Awards, held at the Marriott Hotel in Shanghai, Qatar Airways was voted Best Middle Eastern Airline Servicing China by the country’s famous travel magazine TTG China.
Qatar Airways Chief Executive Officer Akbar Al Baker is very pleased with the award, as it follows the successful launch of scheduled flights to Chongquing in November, the 5th Chinese gateway for the airline.
He pointed out that since the inaugural flight to Chongquin, there has been steady growth. ‘2011 was a big year for Qatar Airways and 2012 is going to be even bigger, introducing more travel options for passengers flying from China to more than 100 destinations worldwide.’
Congratulations, Qatar Airways!
