In cooperation with the Qatar Winter Sports Committee (QWSC), the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) celebrated the International Olympic Day 2024 on Sunday, observed annually on 23 June, the founding day of the International Olympic Committee back in 1894.

On the occasion, the QOC and QWSC held the most popular winter sports for both men and women of all ages at the Ali Bin Hamad Al Attiyah Arena, including: Figure Skating, Free Skate, Ice Hockey, Short Speed Skating and Curling.

Moreover, a number of athletes and amateurs gave the audience an impressive performance, both individually and in group.

The International Olympic Day celebration enjoyed a large turnout, during which the public got a chance to learn more about the Olympic Movement, its history, and values, along with the growing role of sports in promoting peace, love and in bringing peoples together.

At the 3-2-1 Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum (QOSM), various activities were also hosted to mark the occasion. With the theme ‘Let’s Move 2024 X Paris 2024,’ the event was in collaboration with the Olympic Museum Network, Qatar Olympic Committee, sports federations, and Get Started Sport Centre.
