Qatar Chamber signed an agreement with Pioneers Academy, owner of one of the largest electronic training platforms in Arabic language in the region, to enhance their cooperation in providing online training for citizens and expatriates in Qatar. 

This is in line with the requirements of the country’s digital transformation. The platform is a regional platform with high technological capabilities and developed by experts and specialists.

Qatar Chamber General Manager Saleh bin Hamad Al Sharqi said the platform is intended to develop the skills of employees in the government and private sector, with a series of online specialised training programmes to be offered under areas such as administrative, financial and technical fields.

He said that the programme will contribute to developing and supporting the private sector, to meet the requirements and needs of the local market. He added that a large number of people from government, public and private agencies, will easily have access to these online training courses.

Pioneers Academy CEO Dr Mostafa Al Affouri, meanwhile, underscored the  importance of signing the agreement with Qatar Chamber, expressing his hope to maximise their joint cooperation to meet the needs of Qatar’s labour market and the private sector.

Pioneers Academy was established in 1993 and is one of the largest electronic training and educational provider institution in Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, offering a comprehensive range of training and developmental solutions to individual and corporate professionals.

It is used in more than 130 schools and universities, with American and British systems and dozens of government institutions, ministries and private business sectors, where the e-education and training system has been developed to be a gateway for the management of education, training and development system in an integrated manner.

The types of courses offered through the platform resulted from research and studies based on the needs of the Qatari market, in parallel with the pillars of Qatar National Vision 2023, in addition to the objectives of Qatar Chamber.

The online courses are presented in two types: live streaming and recorded courses. The trainee will receive international certificates from these courses as soon as they are completed. Special training packages are also tailored to the needs of each sector, and are prepared separately.
