Muntajat, the marketing arm of Qatar Petroleum (QP), was honoured to receive a visit from the Minister of State for Energy Affairs and President/CEO of QP, HE Engineer Saad Sherida Al Kaabi.
During his visit, the Minister acknowledged the role Muntajat plays in the development of the country’s energy sector, as part of Qatar Petroleum and its contribution to national growth and sustainability, in line with Qatar National Vision 2030. He spoke about the major expansions and projects within the petrochemical sector, emphasising the strategic role Muntajat will play utilising its expertise, know-how and network to market, sell and distribute additional volumes to domestic and international markets.
Al Kaabi was also very happy to meet with Muntajat’s people, getting to know them and sharing experiences. After a short meeting with the Management Team, he took the time to converse with young talents and took a tour of the offices to personally shake hands with all employees, thanking them for their dedication and commitment to the company.

Al Kaabi meets with Pakistan’s Minister for Power and Petroleum
HE Saad Sherida Al Kaabi also met with HE Omar Ayub Khan, the Federal Minister for Power and Petroleum of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Discussions during the meeting focused on a number of topics of mutual interest, foremost of which was cooperation in the field of energy between Qatar and Pakistan. Qatar has a long-term agreement to supply Pakistan with 3.75 million tonnes of LNG per annum.
