Qatar International Boat Show to Bring More Colours Next Year

The 6th Qatar International Boat Show (QIBS 2019) concluded it’s five-day run at the Marina of The Pearl Qatar in a glittering ceremony highlighted by the country’s Coast Guard receiving a marine surveillance boat from Doha Craft.

QIBS 2019 Coast Guard receives key from Doha Craft

Rashid Al Madadi, Managing Director of Doha Craft presented the keys of the boat to Lieutenant Colonel Abdulaziz, Acting Head of the Coast Guard at the Ministry of Interior. QIBS 2019 wrapped up on a high note, promising to bring more colours next year.

It’s a promising market, according to Nobiskrug Managing Director Holger Kahl, who also promised to come back next year. Nobiskrug is based in Germany and over 110 years old. It is among the ‘giants’ in the world’s marine industry. This is the first time that they participated in QIBS. Kahl said it was a fantastic show in a very nice location with all the facilities around. He said he hoped that the show will grow further in the coming years.

Zeeshan Raziq of ZG Traders from Pakistan, also lauded the show. They too, will be coming back next year. Another participant,  Erdinc Kuscu of Mengi Yay Yacht from Turkey, said they came to explore the market and it has been good, so far. They are interested to go on a joint venture with Qatari investors. At least 7,000 people visited the show this year.
