Qatar International Boat Show – QAWARIB 2020 – is all set to open this 16 to 20 November at The Pearl-Qatar, under the patronage of the Prime Minister and the Minister of Interior of the State of Qatar, HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani.

This is the first marine event to be held after the COVID-19 pandemic and the organisers are making sure that everyone – including the exhibitors and the public – are safe.

Produced and owned by Al Mannai Plus Events, the show will feature the largest display of boats and the latest in marine technology and accessories. Al Mannai Plus Events has been organising the luxury exhibition since 2013.

In a statement from Al Mannai Plus Events during the recently-held press conference to announce the show, they said they are able to sustain organising the event because of invaluable support from partners, local exhibitors and the prestigious sponsors of the show.

They especially mentioned the support of the United Development Company (UDC) as well as The Pearl-Qatar and Ronautica Middle East, the Ministry of Interior (MOI) and the Coast Guard, for their cooperation.

This year’s edition will have additional entrances and exits, a separate entry for registration of exhibitors and visitors, to ensure that health and safety precautions are followed.

According to Mannai Plus Events CEO Hamad Issa Al Mannai the event provides a single window to the luxury lifestyle enthusiasts of the region, and preserves the century-old relationship of the natives with the sea, in addition to its role in positioning Qatar as a regional hub for luxury, highly skilled craftsmanship and a venue for the most modern boats and marine-related accessories.

Thirty-two exhibitors will be showcasing various marine related products in the exhibition, including the latest model luxury yachts and boats.

Al Mannai thanked the sponsors of QAWARIB 2020 and his team for putting all efforts to successfully mount the event despite the limitations in travel and movements brought on by COVID-19.
