Food Festival In Its Fourth Year To Showcase Finest International Five-Star Fair
Promoting Healthy Food And Healthy Lifestyles
Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA) launches the fourth edition of their annual food festival in Doha with a new name – Qatar International Food Festival (QIFF). The four-day event will take place at the Museum of Islamic Art Park from 28 to 31 March 2013.
This year, QIFF will carry two main themes; healthy food and a healthy lifestyle, as well as focusing on the Qatari UK Year of Culture by highlighting traditional dishes from both the UK and Qatar.
Families can enjoy sampling food and different cuisines from around the world as prepared by a wide variety of Qatar’s finest five-star hotels and restaurants.
The Healthy Food Zone will be dedicated entirely to healthy food. Dishes will include raw foods, salads, vegetables, fruits, steamed cooked seafood and meats accompanied by fresh juices and teas – all of which support the key message of the food festival – eat healthy food, adopt a healthy lifestyle and stay fit.
This year’s festival has a number of exciting initiatives which will delight adults and kids alike – all of which will be revealed in the next two weeks leading up to the event. The Museum of Islamic Art Park itself with its beautiful setting on Doha’s waterfront is a stunning backdrop for this year’s event with its many new activities and amazing zones that will keep visitors entertained – and well fed – for hours on end.
Entry to the event is free. Vouchers for food and drink at the festival will be sold on site at the event.
Note: QTA has partnered with Qatar Airways to launch the fourth edition of their annual food festival in Doha.
