Global pop icons Katy Perry, Maluma, and Maroon 5 wowed crowds with sensational performances at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC) for the Qatar Live series of concerts on 15, 16, and 19 December.

The artists celebrated their first appearances in the State of Qatar as part of the Qatar Live series of special music concerts and festivals organised by Qatar Airways and Qatar National Tourism Council (QNTC), supported by Ooredoo as Platinum Sponsor. The concerts attracted thousands of residents and visitors.

Qatar Live was organised to align with the FIFA Club World Cup Qatar 2019 (11 to 21 December) to provide world-class entertainment for football fans, visitors and local residents.

Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive and Secretary-General of QNTC, HE Akbar Al Baker, said:

We are delighted to have had the opportunity to welcome some of the biggest stars on the planet to Qatar to share in the incredible Qatar Live festival of music and entertainment. To see so many people coming together to attend Qatar Live alongside the FIFA Club World Cup Qatar 2019 has firmly placed Qatar centre-stage in terms of entertainment and sport.’

One of Lebanon’s bestselling female music artists, Elissa, also performed to an exclusive private audience at the DECC on 20 December. Elissa’s performance was organised especially for corporate partners of Qatar Airways and QNTC, and Qatar Airways Privilege Club members to reward the airline’s loyal passengers and important stakeholders.
