Qatar Museums (QM), Reach Out to Asia (ROTA) and Doha Film Institute (DFI), held an intimate VIP gala dinner at the iconic Museum of Islamic Art on Tuesday evening to celebrate and thank all of their current partners and sponsors for their continued support and contribution over the past year.

The annual dinner, hosted by Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Chairperson of Qatar Museums, ROTA and the DFI, is the second event of its kind to be held by Her Excellency, with the first gala dinner for sponsors held at the end of 2015. Mansoor bin Ebrahim Al Mahmoud, Qatar Museums’ CEO and Special Advisor to HE the Chairperson, said:

At Qatar Museums, we seek to connect and amplify the nation’s cultural institutions and heritage sites and build an exciting and creative future for Qatar. At the heart of this is our commitment to helping Qatar originate art, culture and heritage experiences from within.’

‘This is an ambition that we cannot deliver successfully without the support of our partners and sponsors, and I would like to thank them profusely on behalf of QM for their continued involvement. Our sponsors and partners help us to fulfil our ambitions, bring people together and enrich the lives of all those who live in and visit Qatar.’
