Qatar Museums announced the launch of its Spring Internship Programme, an ongoing initiative that offers internship opportunities for university students, recent graduates and talented community members.

The programme aims to enhance the career skills of participants and increase their employment prospects by aligning their skills with organisational and market needs.

Through the programme, interns will gain practical working experience and explore various career paths in the cultural sector while enhancing skills such as self-discipline, time management and cross-cultural competencies. The internship programme also offers networking opportunities and the chance to build connections with professionals in the industry.

According to the Assistant Director of the Human Capital Department and Director of the Procurement Department, Jabor Mohamed A J Al Nuaimi, the programme is an exceptional opportunity for university students and fresh graduates to gain relevant experience in the cultural sector.

Eligible candidates are encouraged to apply before the deadline on 6 April 2023.

Throughout the programme, interns will be introduced to the world of arts and culture, while working on numerous projects and assignments, with set deadlines and receiving regular support from mentors and members of the management team via remote and regular working systems, group emails and calls. The programme is flexible, allowing interns to work in a regular or blended setting, depending on operational requirements.

The internship programme will run for periods of one to six months. University students, fresh graduates and members of the community who are 18 years and older can apply through the Qatar Museums website.
