The ceremony, held under the patronage of QP President and CEO Saad Sherida Al Kaabi, gave recognition to 487 employees who recorded 10 years of service thus far and 460 staff who have been part of the corporation for the past 15 years.
The awardees came from QP’s various directorates and included a large number of Qatari nationals as well as citizens of many other countries, a reflection of QP’s diverse multinational workforce and representing the corporation’s major areas of operations – Doha, Dukhan, Mesaieed, Ras Laffan, Halul Island and QP’s offshore production stations.

He said that he was very proud of the company’s diversity, and of bringing people from more than 80 countries into QP:

Other QP Vice Presidents and senior officials then took turns in the distribution of certificates and gifts to honoured employees from their respective directorates.
This week’s CSA Ceremony was the second held by QP this year to honour its long-serving employees. It followed the first CSA Ceremony 2017, held recently to recognise a total of 339 employees who have already achieved career milestones of 20, 25, 30, 35, and 40 years of service with the corporation. Also as part of this year’s recognition programme, a total of 367 employees will also be receiving Certificates of Appreciation for having completed 5 years of service with QP.
Organised by QP’s Public Relations and Communications Department in partnership with the Human Capital Directorate, the CSA Ceremony 2017 was held at the convention hall of the QP Headquarters in West Bay. The annual event is one way by which QP recognises the valuable contribution of its employees in the corporation’s extensive operations in the oil and gas industry.
