Qatar Petroleum honoured 74 of its long-serving employees in recognition of their commitment and dedication to realising the company’s vision and strategic objectives.
A special event titled ‘My Legacy’ held under the patronage of HE Saad Sherida Al Kaabi, Minister of State for Energy Affairs and President/CEO of Qatar Petroleum, was held to recognise the services of employees who have reached career milestones of 30, 35 and 40 years of service.
The Minister paid tribute to all those recognised, including employees from a wide spectrum of jobs and professions.
As we honour the many years of your long service in Qatar Petroleum, we see that this does not just make us the only employer you have ever known in your career, but also speaks volumes about Qatar Petroleum as an employer of choice, and as an incubator for human talent.
He highlighted the importance that Qatar Petroleum places on developing, building and rewarding its talent as it moves ahead to realise its vision. He said that their human capital was, and continues to be, at the centre of everything they do.
We are making sure that we build unparalleled capabilities on the road to greater achievements. We also remain focused on developing leadership competencies within the organisation that can drive our ambitions well into the future.
He highlighted some of Qatar Petroleum’s recent milestones on its journey to reinforce its position as a global energy provider and how the employees have contributed to those achievements.
