Bringing together senior management and employees for one of its many Ramadan community initiatives, Qatar Post once again organised its ‘Iftar of the Fasting’ drive where they packed and distributed 1,000 Iftar meals to individuals on the road and in central, highly congested areas in Doha.

The initiative, now on its third year, was launched by Qatar Post to celebrate and share the spirit of the holy month with all residents and members of different communities in Qatar.

Faleh bin Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Chairman and Managing Director of Qatar Post, said the drive embodies and celebrates the spirit of generosity and solidarity.

With our own social responsibility toward our community as anchor, we strive to build strong, deep-rooted human connections, instil a culture of togetherness among members of society, and share with them memorable moments during the holy month.’

Other initiatives launched by Qatar Post in celebration of the holy month included the distribution of 120 lunchboxes for staff members, a donation drive in support of charitable activities and underprivileged families, a Garangao celebration and an annual Suhoor gathering in honour of Qatar Post members.
