Qatar SuperBike Round 5 and Qatar Challenge Round 6 This Weekend

The Qatar SuperBike Round 5 (QSBK) and the Qatar Challenge Round 6 (QCH) will take place this weekend at the Losail International Circuit.  

Qatari rider Mishal Al Naimi currently leads with 157 points. He is hoping to increase the gap ahead of second notcher Alex Cudlin holding 134 points. In the previous two rounds, the Moto2 rider Anthony West got the four victories and is standing in the third place with 100 points. The german rider Nina Prinz is in fourth place also with 100 points.

Supersport category has Lebanese rider Mahmoud Tannir leading with 161  points and Qatari Jassim Al Thani, second with 149 points. Saudi rider Abdulaziz Binladin who finishes first in the previous rounds, is now the fourth placer with 100 points.

For the Losail Asian Road Racing Series, it will be the last round of the season. The Hungarian rider Victoria Kis is leading the championship with 160 points.

On Friday, QSBK free practices will be at 4 pm and 6:15 pm and the Qualifying practice at 8:15 pm. The Superpole is scheduled at 9:35. The two races are set on Saturday 7 March at 7:35 pm and at 10:10 pm.

In the sixth round of Qatar Challenge,  Mark Holroyd is leading the first place, giving him options to get the get the title in this round. Holroyd is leading with 111 points and the second classified, Peter de Vido has 66 points.

Free practice and Qualifying practices on Friday will be at 7 pm and at 9 pm. The race is on Saturday at 8:45 pm.

Grandstand is free open to the public.
