The National Day embodies the originality of our principles, the deep-rootedness of our history, and our responsibility for charting a bright future for our country and the coming generations. In organising these activities and getting the Qatari people to participate, QTA proceed from its role to develop the tourism sector and the loyalty to our beloved homeland and its wise leadership.’

QTA called on all hotels in Qatar to fly the Qatari flag in front of their hotels and distribute Qatari flags to their guests, and decorate their entrances and reception areas in special ways to reflect the country’s festive atmosphere. QTA also urged hotels to come up with new ideas to create a special national look and feel on the National Day. Hotels will also add traditional Qatari food and dishes to their main menus and offer their guests and visitors Arabic coffee and dates on this occasion.

Open to all hotels in Qatar, QTA has also staged the National Day competition for the best decorated hotel front.
