The Qatari Hajj Mission is pressing on its unwavering support for the Qatari pilgrims during this Hajj season, in coordination with Qatari Hajj campaigns, said Deputy Head of the Qatari Hajj Mission, Ali bin Sultan Al Musaifri.

Al Musaifri added that all units affiliated with the Qatari mission were taking all measures to streamline Qatari pilgrims’ performance of Hajj rituals.

‘All pilgrims are safe and expressed their satisfaction with the services and facilities offered in the heat-insulated camps in Mina, Arafat and Muzdalifah, transportation, food, guidance and legal advice and health care services,’ he added.

Al Musaifri added that all camps for the Qatari pilgrims were equipped according to the highest approved specifications.

He highlighted the constructive cooperation and continuous coordination between the officials of the Qatari Hajj Mission and its supporting units, the owners of Qatari Hajj campaigns and the relevant authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which resulted in providing the highest quality services to the country’s pilgrims and helping them perform their rituals in the best possible way.

He added that there was a coordination between the Mission’s Coordination and Follow-up Unit, the airport, the Hajj campaigns, and the Saudi relevant authorities to facilitate the procedures for a safe, easy and comfortable departure of Qatari pilgrims after performing their rituals.

Pilgrims Throw Stones on First Day of Tashreeq

Qatari Pilgrims Continue Hajj Rituals Amid Unwavering Hajj Mission's Support

On the second day of Eid Al-Adha, the first day of Tashreeq, pilgrims in Mina embarked on the ritual of throwing stones at the Jamarat, which entails throwing pebbles at three pillars, starting with Jamarat Al-Oula (the small pillar), continuing with Jamarat Al-Wusta (the middle pillar) and finally Jamarat Al-Aqaba (the large pillar), following in the footsteps of the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH).

Multiple pathways were designated across the various floors of the Jamarat facility to ensure a smooth flow of pilgrims and manage the crowd.
