Aspire Zone Foundation (AZF) is inviting members of the public to attend one of the largest fireworks display in Qatar, scheduled to take place at Aspire Park tonight, between 8:30 pm and 9 pm.

Audiences will enjoy clear views of the fireworks show from football pitches 10, 11, and 12.

AZF formally launched its Qatar National Day celebrations with the culmination of the Al Adaam Flag Relay at Aspire Park in the presence of HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, President of Qatar Olympic Committee. AZF CEO Mohamed Khalifa Al Suwaidi, was also there to receive the Qatari flag as it reached Aspire Zone on the next leg of its journey from Qatar Foundation. The flag was carried by Mutaz Barsham and Abdullah Al Tamimi, both renowned Qatari athletes and Aspire Academy graduates.

Aspire Zone’s week-long Qatar National Day programme features cultural and traditional activities organised in partnership with the Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs. Qatari filmmakers will also screen their work for audiences, in collaboration with the Doha Film Institute. A Military Parade will be performed by members of the Qatar Armed Forces.
