The Qatar British Business Forum (QBBF) celebrated its 25th anniversary with a luncheon at W Doha Hotel & Residences on 13 September 2017.

The event focused on commemorating the Forum’s history in Qatar. Paul Paterson, QBBF committee member and long serving QBBF member shared his QBBF memories and recounted the experiences of the past QBBF members.

The Qatar British Business Forum was established in 1992 to promote trade between the United Kingdom and Qatar, two countries with strong historical ties. It is a flourishing, socially active organisation representing a broad membership base across all industry sectors.

With more than 500 individual members affiliated with nearly 80 different companies, QBBF offers a platform for effective networking and building long-lasting business relationships via a vibrant community spirit.

Throughout the year QBBF hosts several events to enable its members to attend meetings with guests and business acquaintances at social functions. The highly popular luncheon held on the first Monday of most months features an authoritative speaker with personal experiences of Qatar, the region and beyond. Members are also informed of the latest business activities conducted by the commercial team at the British Embassy.
