Qatar Duty Free (QDF) is the official Duty Free Partner of the annual Commercial Bank Qatar Masters, ongoing until today, 25 February, at the Doha Golf Club.
The Commercial Bank Qatar Masters is a four-day long tournament and part of the European tour, which has been taking place since 1998. The tournament features an exciting competition among the most elite golfers in the world, who will compete for the top trophy and a prize fund of $1,750,000. Professional golfers competing in this year’s event include Darren Clarke of Northern Ireland and Paul Lawrie of Scotland.
Head of Qatar Duty Free, Thabet Musleh, said that they are delighted to once again sponsor the prestigious golf tournament. The Commercial Bank Qatar Masters is just one of the many exciting sports events that take place in Qatar annually as part of the country’s 2030 vision.
As one of the main sponsors of the event, QDF is hosting an engaging pavillion with exciting activities, including a mini golf course and a photobooth with an Instagram photo competition, where the owner of the most liked photo will receive an iPhone X.
Qatar Duty Free is also the official sponsor of the ‘Hole in One’ competition on the 3rd hole, where the winner will receive a credit amount of $155,000 to be used at Qatar Duty Free stores.
