HE Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani, Vice Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Foundation (QF), and Khalifa Al Kuwari, Director General of Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in the fields of education, scientific research, and international development.

Speaking on the newly-signed deal, Sheikha Hind said they are pleased to be partnering with QFFD.

Together, we will strive to provide greater learning opportunities to young people, creating global citizens who are equipped to deliver sustainable impact in Qatar and beyond. At Qatar Foundation, we believe that today’s youth will be tomorrow’s leaders, and investing in their development is one of the most important investment for our future.’

Al Kuwari said that the agreement is in line with QFFD’s commitment to build close relations with different government and non-governmental institutions in Qatar, to benefit from their expertise in the field of international development, and to enhance the external aid provided by the state to create sustainable impact.

As part of the agreement, QFFD will also participate in international events, including workshops and conferences that focus on humanitarian aid, organised in particular, by organisations in the field of education, such as the World Innovation Summit for Education and the World Innovation Summit for Health, both of which are global initiatives of Qatar Foundation.
