Over 90 restaurants around Qatar are serving a curated ‘QIFF Menu’ throughout the month of March, as part of the festivities of the 10th edition of Qatar International Food Festival (QIFF).

QIFF Menu has been a popular feature of the festival in previous editions, adding to the festivities of the annual event outside its main venue, which this year will be at Oxygen Park in Education City.

Restaurants and cafes are offering an exclusive three-course QIFF Menu consisting of a starter, main course and dessert, at discounted prices of QAR45, QAR95 and QAR125. Among these, 35 participating restaurants are in hotels, 16 inside malls and over 40 are standalone restaurants. While the festival is taking place on 20 to 30 March, people can enjoy the QIFF Menu at their favourite restaurants throughout the month of March. According to Al Shaima Al Sheikh of Qatar National Tourism Council (QNTC), the QIFF Menu feature aims to shine a spotlight on Qatar’s diverse food and beverage offerings beyond the festival, and provide an opportunity for all residents and visitors to enjoy the spirit of the festival wherever they dine in Qatar.

Numerous activities on the sidelines of the festival have kicked off since early March. This year we also have a distinct number of upcoming entrepreneurs and startups participating in the main festival.  With support from a large number of festival partners this year, we are confident that this year’s 10th anniversary edition will be a memorable one.’

This edition marks ten successful years of QIFF, paving the way for opportunities in Qatar’s F&B sector while welcoming visitors and residents to enjoy the diverse flavours of the world at the forefront of Qatar’s picturesque venues.

Torba Farmers Market is also partnering with QIFF 2019, opening up their popular weekend market throughout the duration of this year’s event. This is the second year that Torba Market has partnered with QIFF, having successfully showcased a mini market and farm-to-table restaurant during last year’s festival at Sheraton Park.

During the festival, Torba Farmers Market will feature its regular stalls, and expand their area to accomodate more vendors and provide more offers for clients looking for gluten-free and vegan options.

A number of activities are also planned to take place at the market during the festival, including live music, informal workshops, and a space for young entrepreneurs.

The market will also again be operating its own farm-to-table restaurant, highlighting locally grown produce and seasonal tastes. In addition to the farm-to-table concept, the market will also offer a selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, and handmade artisan food products and goods.

Torba Farmers Market operate on the same timings as the food festival.
