Qatar Petroleum (QP) President and CEO Saad Sherida Al Kaabi recently held talks with HE Imran Khan, the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The talks were held in Islamabad and focused on cooperation in the field of energy.
Al Kaabi reviewed QP’s global portfolio and activities, particularly its efforts to help meet growing global demand for natural gas. He also expressed the company’s keen interest to enhance its investment in Pakistan and to build on the existing solid relations between both sides. He stressed the importance that Qatar Petroleum places on Pakistan as a promising energy market after the signing of the recent LNG agreement between the two countries, and the commitment to secure its future energy needs, particularly LNG.
Prime Minister Imran Khan welcomed QP’s investment in Pakistan’s energy and petroleum sectors. He assured Al Kaabi of his government’s full support and cooperation.
