After the grand success of the 11th edition of Doha Jewellery & Watches Exhibition (DJWE) in February 2014, Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA) is hosting the 12th edition of this prestigious annual event from 24 to 28 February 2015 at the Qatar National Convention Center (QNCC).

The DJWE 2015 will attract over 500 of the most exclusive international and regional brands. The exhibition 2015 will span across five major halls at QNCC, covering a space of 25,000 square meters. The increase of the exhibition space by 25% states the growing demand from the international luxury sector to participate and exhibit at this unique annual international event. The layout of the show floor has been refined to provide an even more enhanced experience for visitors and participants alike. Several customised marketing and communications campaign will be implemented to ensure that the 500 exhibiting brands gain maximum exposure, reach and impact through increased regional and international media coverage.

Organised by QTA, the DJWE 2015 will showcase creative brilliance, master craftsmanship, ultimate luxury, the latest trends in the industry today and pure glamour. QTA manages Qatar’s burgeoning tourism industry and develops it through establishing high profile international and local exhibitions as successful annual calendar events in Qatar. QTA’s mission is to promote Qatar as a world class tourism destination for business, leisure, culture, education and sport. Its role is to showcase the country’s unique cultural heritage and highlight its tourist attractions.

In conjunction with QTA, the DJWE 2015 is also organised by q.media and Fira de Barcelona. Established in 2004 with the vision to work in outdoor, audio and visual advertising, events and conferences and the film industry, q.media is a Qatari company owned wholly by Qatar Development Bank (QDB). q.media also owns a number of operations globally. Fira de Barcelona is the leading Spanish trade and industrial show organiser and boasts a preeminent position in the European trade fair market. Fira has a portfolio of over 70 shows of different frequencies that bring together 30,000 exhibitors, both direct and represented and receive 2.5 million visitors from over 200 countries.

The 11th edition of the DJWE was held at the QNCC between 25 February and 2 March 2014. This six-day exhibition hosted the finest and the best-in-class international brands like Mouawad, David Webb, Cartier, Chopard, Boucheron, Al Zain Trading Co, Graff/Qatar Marketing Co., and Christie’s Jewellery, exhibiting their prestigious product portfolios and unveiling of world class pieces. The glamour quotient of the exhibition was upheld by visiting international and regional celebrities. The brand ambassador of IWC Schaffhausen and Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton and renowned Lebanese pop-icon Maya Diab, the face of Voyageur jewellery brand attended the exhibition.

The DJWE 2015 portrays the dynamism of Qatar and its robust and progressive economy. The display of the finest gemstones and unique watches make the 12th edition of DJWE a well anticipated event amongst connoisseurs and consumers alike.
