A Virgin Mojito Recipe, submitted by @charlee951

  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 tbsp Honey Simple Syrup
  • 10 large fresh mint leaves (or 15 small leaves)
  • Sparkling water
  • Ice

  1. Place mint leaves and lime juice in a glass and muddle them together. (Muddling is mushing them up and crushing the leaves to release the flavour of the mint.) Use a muddler or the handle of a wooden spoon.
  2. Add the honey simple syrup. To make honey syrup all you have to do is add 1 part honey to 2 parts water in a pan. Heat over low heat until all the honey is dissolved. Leave it to cool and add to your mojito! Simple!
  3. Add the sparkling water.
  4. Garnish with lime slices, a sprig of mint, and/or fresh fruit
