On Thursday 3 October 2013, motorcycle riders all around the country will gather together in a rally to raise awareness of children with special needs with the help of Hope Qatar at an event called ‘Ride for Hope’ at Doha Golf Club at 7:30 pm.
Riders will gather at 6:30 pm at the Doha Golf Club on a route that will go from Doha Golf Club – University Lights – Duhail – Slope Roundabout – HBK – Lekhwiya – Al Sadd Stadium – Rugby Club.
Nasser Khalifa Al Attiyah, President of Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF), joins hands with HE Jose Luis Remedi, Ambassador of Uruguay in Qatar, in order to help the children with special needs. Founded on 21 July 1987, QMMF is a non-profit goverment organisation and is the sole motor sport authority in Qatar. QMMF is responsible for the administration of all major forms of motorsport in Qatar, controlling both technical and sporting rules in various disciplines. At ‘Ride for Hope’, QMMF is supporting the event along with Golf Club, Rugby Club, Soul Riders, Crazy Camels, Downtown Riders, Free Bikers, Qatar Riders, Alfardan Motorbike Group, Desert Eagles and Qatar Motorbike Group, informed the organisers.
