‘Russian Seasons of the 21st Century’ is coming to town at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) on Friday 26 October.

Ballet director, Andris Liepa, displays some of the greatest pieces by the Ballet Russes created by the legendary Sergei Diaghilev over 100 years ago.

Liepa, a former ballet dancer himself, has worked closely with some of the best choreographers, dancers, orchestras and artists from Russia. His show has toured the world and incorporates excerpts from Swan Lake, Don Quixote and Pas de Deux (partner dances) from Giselle, The Nutcracker, Sheherezade and more.

Being a basis for many modern dances, ballet is something that must be experienced by all lovers of dance.
