Qatar’s hospitality sector is set to get a further boost with the new Hilton Salwa Beach Resort & Villas. 

In July 2020, Katara Hospitality announced the Hilton Salwa Beach Resort & Villas will be opening its doors soon. The resort will open partially with limited available inventory. They will be allocating only one villa per family until all premises are operational. The Amir, HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani made an inspection visit in July.

With sweeping views of the Arabian Gulf, the Hilton Salwa Beach Resort & Villas is set to become the Middle East’s premier beach resort destination, located over 3 mn sq m on the prime coastline of southwest Qatar, less than 100 km from Doha.

Sprawling across 3.5 km of picturesque private beaches, the Hilton Salwa Beach Resort & Villas is a luxurious escape with bright white and blue exteriors blended with traditional Arabian style, surrounded by lush green gardens. Stay in a private beachfront villa and enjoy the marina and yacht club, luxury spa, swimming pools, over 20 on-site dining venues, and access to the resort’s theme park, Desert Falls Water and Adventure Park.

The resort includes 115 villas and chalets, and a 246-room five-star hotel. Starting at 48 sq m, each luxurious guest room features complimentary WiFi and traditional décor. Most feature a terrace and sea views, while their beach villas include a lush private garden, private swimming pool, and direct beach access.

The spacious and elegant guest rooms offer a tranquil, luxurious space to rest and relax. The spacious rooms start at 55 sq m, and all include views of the garden or sea, and a furnished terrace where guests can enjoy complimentary WiFi and soothing style with traditional Arabian décor.

Choose a spacious one- or two-bedroom suite starting from 116 sq m with separate living area and terrace, including access to the VIP Executive Lounge. For the ultimate stay, enjoy the luxurious style, space and privacy of a two-, three- or four-bedroom beach villa, starting at 597 sq m. The villa has separate living area, private swimming pool, direct beach access from your private gardens, and complimentary WiFi. Enjoy a range of delicious meals from their restaurants with 24-hour room service.

Last but not least, accessible rooms offer railings, lowered switches and a roll-in shower. The resort will be accessible on all fronts from accessible parking to rooms, bathrooms and meeting rooms. There will also be Braille elevators, restaurant menus and service menus.

Their extraordinary venues host up to 1,200 guests in their majestic ballroom. Their 1,300 sq m ballroom is divisible with multiple layouts, complimentary WiFi, A/V technology, catering and event planning services. Their spectacular beach is the perfect setting for weddings or other celebrations.

The amenities

The family-friendly resort has plenty of fun activities for children of all ages, including waterpark slides, laser tag, go karts, kids club, covered kids pool, babysitting services and kid-friendly menus in their restaurants. There are also babysitting services and a child care centre for your little ones.

Once complete, this ambitious 362-key property will feature a wide range of remarkable facilities, including a 3.5 km of private beach, luxury marina and yacht club, themed water park, diving centre, cinema, shopping mall, an Arabian village, 2,800 sq m spa and health club, and more. In addition to 28 water slides and other attractions, the Desert Falls Water and Adventure Park will also offer diving and canoeing.

Coming in 2021, the Sports Academy will feature three football pitches, six sport courts, indoor pool, gyms and kid’s area.
