Marhaba was invited to The Second Customer Appreciation Day at the Sharq Village and Spa on Saturday 26th November, which more than 250 people attended.

mg_5845The Sharq staff (above) had organised a cocktail reception in the foyer, with live stations of chefs cooking prawns and then there was a grand gala dinner in Al Dasha Ballroom by the two chefs from The Good Life Festival, Doxis Berkis and Theodoror Karinos. The meal was very fish orientated; Marhaba enjoyed some very tasty eel and truly delicious sea bass that we’re still talking about. The dessert, created by Antje Rauterberg, was a very light black forest gateau that didn’t last long!

img_0020In between courses, Amena Tena, PR Manager announced the winners of the raffle, a very generous selection of prizes, including stays at Sharq Village and Spa, The Ritz-Carlton Dubai, The Ritz-Carlton Riyadh as well as membership at Six Senses Spa.

During the dinner we were entertained by a performance by the glamorous Doha Jazz Band, who sang old jazz classics. Hoss Vetry, the Cluster General Manager for The Ritz-Carlton Hotels said:
