The first event was an invitation-only event under Sheraton Grand Doha’s CSR programme, Together We’re Better, inspired by the Marriott spirit to serve the community.

The event offered a welcoming space that brought together women from Qatar’s multi-cultural society. The event allowed them to establish connections, exchange and discuss their realities, challenges and share their stories and successes, to enrich their experiences and support each other. The initiative was in support of women in general and as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The Power of Loving You

The Women’s Circle kick-off event was held under the title, The Power Of Loving You. The aim was to create an exceptional space for the participants, and where Anahi, the Self-Worth Coach, spoke about the power of honest communication, as well as the importance of self-compassion and self-care in creating joyful lives for themselves and for those around them.

According to Anahi, self-care and self-love mattered in their goals and vision.

It is through abundant self-care – that feels aligned and genuine – that each of us will be able to overcome the challenges we face in womanhood and beyond.

Deliberations on the importance of early detection and awareness in the fight against Breast Cancer and the ways to lead a healthy lifestyle were also discussed. Anahi also emphasised the importance of self-love and why women need to invest time and energy into their physical, mental and emotional well-being.

Women’s Circle

Sheraton Grand Doha Head of Marketing and PR Fatma Kurt said they are elated to offer an exclusive platform through the Women’s Circle, to invite elite women from Qatar’s multi-cultural society to discuss their experiences and share their stories.

We believe that such platforms enable women to support and empower each other. We offer our gratitude to self-worth coach Anahi, without whose collaboration we wouldn’t be able to curate such a successful platform.

She added that Anahi guided the participants to reach a state of ‘psychological’ satisfaction and ways of co-existence, and through a meditation session that led them to a state of inner peace.

To celebrate the success of the event, a Women’s Circle Linkedin group was created to facilitate communication among members and provide information about upcoming events and programmes. Those wishing to join the group may do so via the LinkedIn page.
