The first of four digital raffle draw of Shop Qatar 2021 was held at Doha Festival City on Friday, 17 September. Fifty-six lucky winners won two Genesis cars, QAR300,000 in cash prizes, ten PlayStation 5 and 27 gift vouchers.
The raffle draws are being conducted digitally this year, in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Public Health. To participate in the raffle draw, shoppers submit details and store receipts through a contact-less process on WhatsApp. Winners are selected randomly through a digital process.

Three more raffle draws
Visitors and residents still have a chance to participate in the next three raffle draw by shopping or dining at any of the festival’s 15 retail partners. Every QAR200 spent at any participating retailers or restaurants accounts for one raffle draw entry. Next week’s Shop Qatar Raffle Draw will be held on Friday, 24 September at Hyatt Plaza, at 8 pm.
Four easy steps to join the raffle draw
- Register by messaging ‘Hi’ to 4499 7499 on WhatsApp or by scanning the Shop Qatar QR code which can be found in any participating malls
- Enter your details in the chat to create a customer profile
- Message ‘Win’ to participate in the raffle draw
- Once prompted by the virtual assistant, upload an image of the receipt(s)
Retail partners for Shop Qatar 2021 include Al Khor Mall, City Center Mall, Doha Festival City, Ezdan Mall (Al Gharrafa), Ezdan Mall (Al Wakrah), Galleria Mall, Gulf Mall, Hyatt Plaza, Lagoona Mall, Landmark Mall, Mall of Qatar, The Gate Mall, Villaggio Mall, The Pearl, and Qatar Duty Free at Hamad International Airport.
Make-Up Masterclass by Bassam Fattouh
In addition to the exciting shopping experiences, Shop Qatar 2021 also offers a series of fashion and entertainment activities including fashion shows, make-up masterclasses, concerts, design workshops and more. Renowned Lebanese Make-Up artist Bassam Fattouh will be conducting the festival’s first makeup masterclass on Tuesday, 21 September at Park Hyatt, from 6 pm to 9 pm. Ticket to the workshop is QAR750 and available through Virgin Megastore. Attendees must be vaccinated.
