Snoonu is the exclusive delivery partner of the 11th edition of the popular Qatar International Food Festival (QIFF), taking place at the Al Bidda Park until this Friday, 17 December.

Snoonu is providing free delivery from the participating food stalls to customers within the festival grounds. Instead of waiting in long queues, people can have their meals delivered to them as they enjoy the live performances or relax in the seating areas.

Snoonu also has its own QIFF booth where visitors can play games and win rewards like food and coupons and even Snoonu branded gifts, available to visitors who have an account on the Snoonu app.

Partners from the private and public sector

Qatar Tourism organises QIFF in collaboration with public and private sector partners. It is part of the entity’s strategy to grow and diversify the country’s tourism experiences and spotlight the country’s thriving dining scene.

This year’s edition was also timed to coincide with the FIFA Arab Cup™ for a duration of three weeks instead of the usual ten days. This extended period allows residents, visitors and football fans ample opportunity to enjoy a wide range of gastronomic experiences and entertainment.

Victoria Adair of Qatar Tourism said that through festivals such as QIFF, they provide a platform to local talents, with start-ups and local businesses gaining exposure and the opportunity to expand their market reach.

We are delighted to partner with Qatar’s own Snoonu delivery app. Thanks to them, visitors can receive their meals at their seats and therefore, have more time to enjoy the festivities.

Snoonu Founder and CEO Hamad Alhajri said they are honoured to partner with and support Qatar Tourism by being the official QIFF delivery partner. He said they look forward to more innovative partnerships with Qatar Tourism’s future projects.

Plenty of entertainment

There is plenty of family entertainment throughout the festival, including a mix of live music and DJ, roaming entertainment, mini-golf, trampolines, a hot air balloon experience, carnival games, and much more. Multiple local and regional artists will also perform, including Music Vending Machine, 11 Strings, Harget Kart, Pablo Discobar, Hadis, Soul Brother, REJAM, AFCENT Band, Charlie Porter Quintet, and AFCENT Band.

QIFF is open on weekdays from 3 pm to 11 pm and during weekends, from 3 pm to 1 am. While general admission to QIFF is free, ten VIP areas around the festival can be reserved for QAR350 per two-hour booking. Each VIP area can accommodate eight people.

Qatar Tourism follows the hygiene and safety guidelines set by the Ministry of Public Health to ensure visitors a safe experience. Have you been to the festival? Catch its last run this week. Get more details here.
