The Ritz-Carlton, Doha is honoured to announce the launch of STK Doha, which is scheduled to open its doors end of  January 2019!

STK Doha will be located on the top floor of the city’s newly renovated Ritz-Carlton Hotel, overlooking the Arabian Gulf and featuring exceptional city views. The restaurant is expected to have seating for 150 guests and will feature STK’s classic menu along with the brand’s signature décor.

Originally from New York City, STK offers a modern and upscale twist on the American steakhouse concept, with culinary excellence, a modern ambience and chic décor all blended into one. With a pulsating atmosphere generated through a series of programmed entertainment, live acts and guest DJs, the trendy upbeat steakhouse located on the highest floor of the hotel is set to become the ultimate dining and nightlife destination in Qatar.

Fusing an industrial-chic warehouse aesthetic with refined design elements; STK Doha offers a variety of seating options to cater for all; a lounge with a white marble bar, a dedicated dining area with dark-wood flooring with large banquette and booth seating. The most unique feature will be STK’s ‘iconic wall’ that will have an array of ceramic longhorns laid out.

Born in Uruguay, De Leon Torres cumulates over 18 years of culinary experience. 

He moved to The Middle East for the first time in 2016 to join The Ritz Carlton, Bahrain to open Cantina Kahlo, a brand new concept about art and Mexican cuisine. Soon after the opening, the restaurant received the award of “The Best International Restaurant” and Chef De Leon Torres was honored “Chef of the year 2017” by Food & Travel Magazine. Later on, the restaurant was acclaimed “Best Restaurant of the company in the Middle East and Africa in 2017”.

In September 2018, Chef Cesar De Leon Torres moved to Qatar to oversee the culinary team at STK Doha

With locations in London, Milan, Dubai, New York City, Miami and Los Angeles among others, STK Doha will soon become the new hotspot in Qatar that breaks with tradition, offering a take on the classic American steakhouse.
