Tawteen, the recently-launched localisation for services and industries in Qatar’s energy sector, has officially opened its service centre which serves investors interested in joining the programme.
The Tawteen Service Centre is located on the 6th floor of the annexe building of the Qatar Navigation Tower, which is adjacent to The Gate Mall. It is open from Sunday – Thursday, from 7 am-4 pm, and it can also be contacted through its hotline number 4013 6477.
The service centre has been established to provide potential investors with all the support required to facilitate their entry to the local energy sector’s supply chain. Highly qualified staff will respond to investor inquiries and will take investors through the Tawteen website to explain the available investment opportunities, the In-Country Value (ICV) policy, as well as the business registration process.
Led and initiated by Qatar Petroleum (QP), Tawteen aims to foster the development of the energy sector’s local supply chain and to expand the small and medium enterprises based in Qatar. The programme currently offers around 100 new investment opportunities covering various fields, including engineering services, maintenance and repair, digital technologies, subsurface operations, chemicals and metals, as well as light equipment and other services.
