Under the patronage of the Prime Minister of Qatar, Minister of Interior, HE Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition (DJWE), the annual artisan exhibition of the world’s most luxurious pieces of jewelry, gemstones and timepieces, will return on 25 February to 2 March 2014 at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC).

Organised by Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA) in partnership with q.media events and for the first time – Fira Barcelona, the 11th Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition will cover nearly 20,000 square metres, 34 exhibitors with more than 500 jewellery and watch brands have already signed up for the high-profile event. Director of Exhibitions at QTA, Hamad Al Abdan, said:

We believe in the importance of the role the private sector could play to further improve the MICE industry in Qatar, hence we are pleased with the partnership with ‘q.media’ and ‘Fira Barcelona’ to organise this exhibition and we are looking forward to more accomplishments. DJWE has become one of the most important specialised regional and international exhibitions in the luxurious goods  and a premier event, which brings together world renowned jewellers, watch makers, luxury exhibitors and visitors from around the world. We are expecting this edition of DJWE to be met with strong interest with new exhibitors and exclusive offerings. What distinguishes this edition from previous editions is  a total area of 20,000 square metre, compared with ​​15 thousand square meters in the previous year in addition to a 20% increase in the space for each exhibitor.’

This year’s event will feature a catwalk show, showcasing top designs from all exhibitors at the event.

q.media is a 100% Qatari company owned by the Qatari Government. Established in 2004, q.media has the vision to work in outdoor, audio and visual advertising, events and conferences and the film industry.
