The Qatari Businesswomen Association (QBWA) and Interactive Business Network (IBN), organisers of the Qatar International Businesswomen Forum (QIBWF), announced that the 5th edition of the QIBWF will launch its activities on Tuesday 16 December 2014 at The St. Regis Doha Hotel.
Under the patronage of HH Sheikha Jawaher bint Hamad bin Suhaim Al Thani, wife of HH The Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the forum aims to put forward and discuss key issues that greatly affect a growing number of businesswomen in Qatar and beyond. These include topics such as women empowerment, entrepreneurship, human development and corporate social responsibility.
Vice-Chairwoman of the QBWA, Aisha Aifardan, said:

The forum will honour HE Sheikh Faisal bin Qassem Al Thani, Chairman of the Qatar Businessmen Association; Qatar Shell, Abdul Aziz Al Khalifa – Chief Executive Officer QDB, and Walid Al Sayed COO of Ooredoo for their efforts and continuous support for the annual event and women’s sector in general.
