In collaboration with the Ministry of Environment, Saleh Hassan Al Kuwari, Director of Reserves Department of Nature Reserves Sector, announced the launch of the winter camping season starting from 30 October 2014 to 16 April 2015.

The registration for the new season would begin on 13 October to 15 December 2014. Kuwari asked people interested in camping to apply for licences within the time frame.

Many locals prefer to set up semi-permanent winter camps along the coast where family and friends can be comfortably entertained.
