On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) has changed the working hours for some of its departments.

Ramadan is expected to begin on Saturday 28 June 2014 or Sunday 29 June 2014.

The Ramadan working hours for MoI’s departments are as follows:

General Directorate of Border Passports and Expatriate Affairs (Immigration Department), Nationality and Travel Documents Department will work in two shifts:

Morning: 8 am – 1 pm

Evening: 9 pm – 1 am

Traffic Department

Morning: 9 am – 2 pm

Evening: 9 pm – 1 am

Criminal Evidences and Information Department

Headquarters: 8 am – 1 pm

Fingerprint Section at Industrial Area (for companies) – three shifts:

Morning: 8 am – 1 pm

Afternoon: 1 pm  – 6 pm

Evening: 8 pm  – 1 am

Fingerprint section at external Services Centers – two shifts:

Morning: 8 am – 1 pm

Evening: 9 pm – 1 am
