Taking on the new role at STK Doha, Greece-born Chef Akis Partias, brings over two decades of experience to the position. Having worked at a number of luxury hotels and restaurants in the Greek Islands, Dubai and Qatar, Akis is well placed to bring his enthusiasm for fusion cuisine to Doha’s innovative steakhouse. When asked about his new responsibilities, Akis commented:
My childhood dream was to become a chef. The passion I feel for cooking comes directly from my grandmother, who always made dishes with such care and attention. STK Doha is a great challenge for me, and I’m confident in my success.
Akis is following in the much-respected footsteps of ex-Head Chef Giuseppe Sparagna, who has been promoted to Chef de Cuisine Events – Convention. Taking on the responsibility for overseeing the entire banquet kitchen operation, Giuseppe’s new role will involve applying his insight, artistry and professionalism to the property’s impressive meetings and events culinary offering.
An expert in his field, Giuseppe embodies The Ritz-Carlton, Doha’s flair for crafting unforgettable occasions that are delivered with imagination and talent. Speaking of his new position, he said:
