The Westin Doha Hotel and Spa recently announced the appointment of Chef Fabio Genghini as the hotel’s new executive chef. Fabio has over 20 years of experience and has worked in several distinguished international restaurants. 

Chef Fabio worked in iconic restaurants such as the Michelin star restaurant Pierino Penati in Italy, London, Malta, Dubai, Tokyo, and Thailand. Before joining The Westin, he was the executive chef of Le Meridien Suvarnabhumi Golf Resort in Bangkok where he developed a strong foundation and further developed his innovative culinary skills.

Speaking on his appointment, Chef Fabio said it is his great pleasure to join The Westin Hotel, a well-established property well-known for its huge banqueting operation, award-winning venues and famous brunch concept. He said he is looking forward to pursuing a new challenge in his career and developing more the creativity and skills of the hotel’s chefs.

We are working on creating new concepts which will be launched soon, hopefully after Ramadan. I am eager to lead my team to provide our guests with an unforgettable dining experience.
