The Westin Doha Hotel and Spa has recently announced the appointment of Chef Roberto Guerrero as the new Chef De Cuisine at Hunters Room and Grill.

Bringing 20 years of international experience in the culinary industry, Chef Roberto joins The Westin Doha Hotel and Spa from Saba Rock Resort North Sound Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands where he served as the Executive Chef. Before joining, he managed to gain his international career experience as well in INTI, Lux North Male in the Maldives as Chef De Cuisine, Turks and Caicos Island as Grace Bay’s Sous Chef, as Head Chef at Hotel Boutique Isabel La Católica in Venezuela and as Junior Sous Chef at Jumeirah Beach Hotel.

Commenting on his appointment, Chef Roberto said:

It is a great pleasure to join the Westin Hotel, our guests will witness a new culinary journey that I bring with me from my country Venezuela along with my International experience. The Middle East has always attracted me, one of my first jobs was in this region, and it has always been charming as I am always passionate to discover new cultures, dishes, and experiences. As I have settled down now in Doha, I am eager to learn more and to share my experience with my team so that we offer our guests an unforgettable dining experience. I am planning to infuse my signature Latin American twist and I promise guests an unforgettable new menu soon.

Hunters Room and Grill at The Westin Doha Hotel and Spa is a contemporary steakhouse with an open show kitchen that presents enticing aromas. Offering quality cuts from around the world, in addition to vegetarian options, Hunters Room and Grill provides a great dining experience in a unique style of serving.
