This is Qatar, a special operetta and one of the anticipated highlights of this year’s National Day celebrations at Cultural Village – Katara, will be performed this Tuesday and Thursday, 17 and 19 December, at the Katara amphitheatre. Both dates will feature two shows starting at 7 pm and 9 pm.

The concert, directed by Nasser Abdul Reda, features Fahd Al Kubaisi, Kuwaiti artist Ibrahim Dashti and Asil Hamim of Iraq, along with various international exhibition teams.

Also this Tuesday, the Qatari Joint Special Forces will be showcasing the ‘Show of 41 Paratroopers’, ‘Paramotor Show’, and ‘Show of 10 Paratroopers’, followed by parachute fireworks at the Katara Esplanade from 3 pm until 10 pm. This is the only day that the Qatari Joint Special Forces will be holding these shows at Katara as part of the National Day festivities. There will also be a drone display on the sidelines.

Meanwhile, The Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy’s folklore shows at Katara are all set on 16, 18 and 19 December, 3 pm to 10 pm. The show will be participated by 15 international communities – Pakistan, Korea, Japan, Palestine, Bangladesh, Uganda, Nepal, Kenya, Tanzania, Morocco, Jamaica, Tunisia, Mexico, Sudan, and Ghana.

Various activities and events that showcases the country’s national culture and heritage are continuing unabated at Katara Cultural Village since 11 December.
