Are you ready for your next fashionable Netflix binge? Ryan Murphy’s limited series ‘Halston’ hits the streaming platform this weekend. ‘Halston’ is a five-part biopic featuring the larger-than-life story of Roy Halston Frowick, known as Halston, the man who changed American fashion forever. Taking the title role is no other than Star Wars alum Ewan McGregor, who reportedly even taught himself to sew to portray the legendary designer. Executive producer Murphy has described McGregor as ‘the only choice’ to play Halston. Be on the lookout on Friday, 14 May, for the five-part series.

GET THE POPCORN FOR THIS:
‘Oxygen’ is a French survival thriller directed by Alexandre Aja. The film tells the story of a young woman (Mélanie Laurent, 6 Underground, Inglourious Basterds), who wakes up in a cryogenic pod, with no recollection of who she is or how she ended up there. As she’s running out of oxygen, she must rebuild her memory to find a way out of her nightmare. The film is described as a clever example of creativity thriving within the strict protocols of the coronavirus pandemic, that you’ll relate to if you’ve felt physically trapped over the past months. Oxygen is now available for streaming on Netflix.

Reese Witherspoon’s Book Club highly recommends this novel from Laura Dave entitled ‘The Last Thing He Told Me.’ Reese herself described it as the ultimate page-turner. As events unfold, Hannah quickly realises her husband isn’t who he said he was. And that Bailey just may hold the key to figuring out Owen’s true identity—and why he really disappeared.
