SETTLE IN WITH A CUP OF TEA AND READ THIS:

Zakiya Dalila Harris’ The Other Black Girl is one of the most anticipated books this season. This intriguing debut novel features the story of Nella Rogers, a 26-year-old editorial assistant in a New York book publishing company, who is fed up with isolation and microaggressions being the only Black employee. She’s thrilled when Harlem-born and bred Hazel starts working in the cubicle beside hers. But what she thought off first as a friend turns out to become her foe. An interesting mash-up of mystery, thriller, sci-fi and social commentary, ‘The Other Black Girl’ is also in development as a series at Hulu with Dalila Harris on board to co-write and executive produce.

Some music big names are also lending their voices for the album including Megan Thee Stallion, blackbear, Stevie Nicks, H.E.R. and the late Juice WRLD. Jordi is out on Friday.
