BINGE WATCH THIS:

After almost a decade, the beloved CW show ‘Gossip Girl’ is getting a second life and a new home! Premiering this 8 July on HBO Max, the long-awaited reboot features a brand new cast of upper-class Manhattanites who are dealing with the reemergence of the anonymous GG blog at a time when social media plays an even larger role in their lives. While the original show’s cast is not confirmed to return, the original narrator Kristen Bell is back to once again churn the gossip mill. XOXO!

GET THE POPCORN FOR THIS:

Reviews are out for the first part of the ‘Fear Street’ trilogy released last week and critics seem to be liking it. ‘Fear Street’ is a three-part horror film based on the book series by R.L. Stine. The Netflix films focus on the cursed town of Shadyside and follow a group of teenagers that investigate the town’s history. The first part dubbed as ‘Fear Street Part 1: 1994’ is already strong on its own but shows a great promise for the next installment ‘Fear Street Part 2: 1978’ that’s arriving this Thursday. The third film, ‘Fear Street Part 3: 1666’ will premiere on 16 July. It’s packed with nostalgia, fountains of blood, and legitimately surprising twists. Check out the trailer.

SETTLE IN WITH A CUP OF TEA AND READ THIS:

Named as ‘Best Debut to Read This Summer’ by Entertainment Weekly, Kelly McClorey’s ‘Nobody, Somebody, Anybody’ is moving and darkly comic. It follows the story of a young woman who took a summer gig as a chambermaid at a bougie yacht club while she studies for her EMT exam. She slowly loses her mind as she cleans up after the rich. Critics call it hilarious, enthralling and befuddling which makes it a bizarre and interesting read.

CRANK UP THE VOLUME FOR THIS:

It’s the 8th anniversary of ARMY, the fanbase of global Korean pop group BTS and they are being treated with a new song! Set to be released this Friday, ‘Permission to Dance’ is a new track included in the ‘Butter’ CD single. The new song’s credits feature singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran and Snow Patrol’s Johnny McDaid. But while waiting for the new single, here is the official music video of the group’s record-breaking and Billboard Hot 100 Number 1 hit, ‘Butter’.
